In 2013 after years as a celebrity stylist and fashion editor, Mary Alice launched HANEY, a luxury ready-to-wear label, based in downtown Los Angeles, with a clear mission: to bring a Hollywood sensibility to every woman. Mary Alice’s signature style is a sophisticated sexiness that exudes luxury and confidence and enhances and flatters the figure with impeccable tailoring, luxurious fabrics and luxe embellishments. She has designed dresses that are red carpet–glamorous but still easy and relaxed. Celebrity clientele include Reese Witherspoon, Emily Ratajkowski, Chrissy Teigen, Kate Hudson, Gal Gadot, Scarlett Johannson, Heidi Klum, Jessica Biel, Suki Waterhouse, Karolina Kurkova, Jane Fonda, and Taylor Swift,. She has worked on collaborations with Escada, Le Catch and Amazon. Most, recently, Mary Alice has moved into costume designing for film and TV.
